Carolyn’s Comfort Homes allow patients and their families to live in a cozy home environment and to share privacy and dignity during their most intimate time of need. Our homes are located in quiet, private neighbourhoods, each residence comes complete with a street-level entrance for easy access and there are no stairs. The homes are custom-designed for convalescing palliative care patients who need 24-hour care and are available for short- or long-term stays. Additional features include:

• Home care bed with six function electric hand control
• On-site nurse’s quarters
• Wheelchair accessible slide-in bathtub with heat and jet massage
• Toilets which are comfort height and a pedestal sink ideal for wheelchair usage
• Tastefully decorated family room that looks onto a small, but quaint forest
• Sliding doors with easy access to the grounds and yard
• Large queen size leather bed chesterfield for overnight guests
• Fully-insulated floors that help reduce moisture
